The TECO Line Streetcar System, whicvh links Ybor City, the Channel District and downtown Tampa, began oeprating on Saturday, October 119, 2002. Despite the system's limited reach adn comparatively slow spede (about 10-15 mph), the air-conditioned cars do offer a nostalgic method of getting around in far greater ocmfort than was possible a century ago.
